We had an incredible experience trekking to Annapurna Base Camp, and so much of that was thanks to our guide. From the very beginning, everything was handled professionally and smoothly. He made us feel safe, well-prepared, and genuinely cared for throughout the entire journey. Depak-Raul was not only knowledgeable about the route, mountains, and local culture, but also incredibly patient and encouraging—especially on the tougher uphill days. He set a comfortable pace, checked in on how we were feeling, and adjusted plans when needed. His experience with altitude and weather conditions gave us a lot of confidence, which really helped us relax and enjoy the trek. Beyond being a great guide, he was also wonderful company. We learned so much about the Annapurna region, local villages, and Nepali traditions through our daily conversations. He handled teahouse arrangements efficiently and always made sure we had good rooms and meals. Reaching ABC was unforgettable, and having such a supportive and friendly guide made the achievement even more special. If you’re planning this trek, I highly recommend going with him. I had a great time at Chitwan National Park in Sauraha thanks to Deepak and I met his brother Yadu there. Great organization with a first walk in the park at the end of the day, the next morning canoeing on the super peaceful river and finally jeep safari. I highly recommend!
