
It is the fifteenth highest trekking peak in Nepal. It was formally known as Kanga Chuli. It is situated in the southern flank of Langtang region of Nepal and towering over the south of alpine Langtang valley and holy lakes of Gosainkunda. The normal route to this peak is via the snowy northeast ridge over a line on ice and snow. The trip starts either from Dhunche or Syabru Bensi. From Dhunche the trail goes slowly up to the Kyangjin Gompa, a famous Buddhist monastery and continues up the base camp crossing Kangala (4510m), one of the strenuous high mountains passes.

Day 02: Preparation day for permits and briefing on the trip
Day 03: Drive Kathmandu to Dhunche
Day 04: Trek to Thulo Syabru
Day 05: Trek to Lama Hotel (2380 m.)
Day 06: Trek to Kyanjing Gompa (3750 m.)
Day 07: Trek to Langtang Village & back to Kyanjing Gompa
Day 08: Kyanjing Gompa rest for acclimatization
Day 09: Trek to Naya Kanga Base Camp (4000 m.)
Day 10: Rest in Naya Kanga B.C.
Day11: Climb High Camp (4900 m.)
Day12: Trek to Summit Naya Kanga (5844 m.) and back to Base camp
Day 13: Trek to Kyanging Gompa
Day 14: Trek to Lama Hotel
Day15: Trek to Syabru village
Day 16: Trek to Dhunche
Day 17: Drive Dunche to Kathmandu and transfer to hotel
