Nar Phu Valley Trek

narphu valley trekNar-Phu Valley Trek is probably best wilderness trek in the Annapurna region to explore hidden valley and challenging high passes such as Masokanto La (5099m), Kangla pass (5200m) & Tilicho Pass (5230m) with beautiful Lake Tilicho. The trail starts over the Marshysangdi river to the steep portals of the Nar Phu valley that opens up to a spectacular view of high snow peaks, ancient villages and high altitude grazing settlements. Closed to trekkers untill late 2002, the government of Nepal has now opened it for the western travelers and explorers to visit this non touristry and untouched areas of this high alpine valley.

Day 01: Arrival Kathmandu & transfer hotel

Day 02: Permits preparation day

Day 03: Drive to Besisahar & trek to Khudi

Day 04: Trek to Bahundanda (1300m)

Day 05: Trek to Chamje (1500m)

Day 06: Trek to Dharapani

Day 07: Trek to Koto (2685m)

Day 08: Trek to Methang Pati (3560m)

Day 09: Trek to Meta (4400m)

Day10: Trek to Nar valley

Day 11: Exploration of Nar & Phu valley & cross the Kangla Pass (5300m)

Day 12: Trek to Manang

Day 13: Rest day in Manang

Day 14: Trek to Khangshar for Tilicho Lake (5200m)

Day 15: Trek to Tilicho Base camp

Day 16: Excursion to Tilicho Lake & back to Base Camp
