The Annapurna Region lies towards the north of central Nepal. The region has been recognized as one of the world’s best trekking destinations that offer extremely diverse terrain, different cultural groups and high breathing views of the mountain ranges. The combination of easy walking and majestic scenery makes the region a trekker’s paradise. Subtropical to alpine vegetation and climates are found changing with the elevations.

Annapurna Region can be reached by air or overland. The most convenient option for Annapurna Region trek is by land transportation up to Pokhara and Besisahar both the places are connected by road from Kathmandu.

Special trekking permits are not required to visit this region. National Park Conservation fee is to be paid.
