The Annapurna Circuit trek circumnavigates the huge Annapurna massif and is widely regarded as one of the classic treks of the world. The route starts from Bhulbhule via Besisahar and follows the trail between two mighty rivers-Marsyangdi in the east and Kaligandaki in the west up to Thorong- La (5416m), the highest point of the trek Descending from the pass we enter the barren Tibetan – like valley of the Kali Gandaki. This is the world’s deepest gorge and passes between the giants of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. Then, we continue our trek further down to apple orchard and wheat farming areas, meet the local people, yak herders and experience their lifestyle.
